With the F8X platform, we conducted endless testing to see which setup gave the best sound and tone without the inevitable rasp these engines produce with a standard exhaust system. When taking unequal flow from the downpipes, the best way to retain enough backpressure and equalized the gasses is with a large single midpipe. That is what we achieved with our new F8X 3.5" midpipe. This midpipe is sure to wake up your exhaust and will drone out any rasp, even when paired with catless downpipes. The single midpipe has been dyno tested to provide power gains over the traditional 2 pipe midpipe, and produces a lower end tone which screams at high RPM's.
